Job Description
At least 5 years of experience managing teams of 10-25 people
• Deep experience with product management, ideally in financial services
• Work with the VP, Product & Design to create the product roadmap, coupled with the ability to communicate and champion that roadmap throughout the organization
• Skill managing the competing demands of multiple internal stakeholders, business areas and external providers to develop a roadmap and deliver high-quality solutions
• An orientation toward being a leader and team player with excellent planning and managerial skills and providing extraordinary service while furthering the Payactiv culture and values
• Analysis and documentation of operational workflows and system process flows
• Strong business orientation with broad experience with financial and/or card processes, technology, and change initiatives
Responsibilities
• As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a talented team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and UX Designers responsible for detailed analysis, use case definition, A/B test planning, app design and execution of new features and functionality
• The role involves a combination of working on product strategy & product execution, driving growth, and engaging with multiple teams (engineering, customer support, etc.) clients, and partners
• Manage all aspects of the product life-cycle, including design, user story creation, backlog grooming, sprint-planning and release management
• Develop a deep understanding of the Payactiv app by actively engaging with clients and other lines of business to actively solicit and represent the “voice of the customer.”
• Manage & develop other product & design team members within the department
• Stay apprised of industry trends and shifts in the competitive landscape; incorporate relevant products within our digital ecosystem from pilots/proof of concepts to launching them into production
• Understand the regulatory, legal and security context to maintain compliance and manage risk
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products; partner with Technology and QA and conduct user-acceptance testing
• Define and analyze metrics that provide insight into the success of our products and utilize these metrics effectively for key product decisions
• Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities
• Work experience with offshore teams would be a plus.
